Back in Black:
Beyond the thrill of seeing your friends’ teeth glow, it seems as though the blacklight is being used in more innovative and artistic ways.  Artist Kehinde Wiley has an upcoming show in September at Deitch Projects aptly named Black Light, based on his book of the same moniker. Using the light to reveal the hidden flaws of his subjects, Wiley sets young, urban African American men in regal poses based on 17th-19th century art.

On the fashion front, Diesel's team has come up with a collection of t-shirts, jeans and sneakers that glow in the dark called Flash For Fun. Hidden prints and graphics are only revealed once under a black light. For more info check out our Denim Daily Dose [3D] section on the site.
