Sharon Graubard
As Senior Vice President, Fashion Director, Ms. Graubard brings with her a stellar background in trend analysis and forecasting. Her mission is to further expand and elevate Stylesight's fresh concept of trend analysis for every major market. Directing the New York headquarters' continuous supply of unique content, Sharon works closely with the editorial staff to create informative and relevant trend reports for Stylesight's wide range of global users.
Her proven ability to accurately pinpoint and predict shifts in color and silhouette through a larger analysis of street, runway and culture, supports and strengthens Stylesight's ability to intercept, interpret and transmit both subtle and significant shifts in the style industry.
Ms. Graubard comes to Stylesight most recently from ESP Trendlab, where she served as Vice President and Creative Director for the trend research and consulting agency. While at ESP she initiated and created The ESP Edit, a series of seasonal trend forecasting publications and presentations that gained an international following. Prior to that, Ms. Graubard was an illustrator at The Tobé Report, later co-founding the trend and color publication, TóbeNEXT. She also served as Creative Director at Doneger Design Direction, another industry leader in global market trends and merchandising strategies.
Sharon studied Fine Art at the Rhode Island School of Design, but fashion is her true calling. Her art background led to work as a textile colorist and magazine illustrator, and her knowledge of fashion history comes from a lifelong preference for old black-and-white movies and a penchant for 19th and early 20th century literature, where the characters’ clothes and accessories are described in exquisite detail.
