As a Senior Vice President who joined the company at its inception, Ilyssa provides strategic direction and oversees editorial content for Stylesight’s Market Intelligence section, which includes Stylesight News, Style Traveler, Stylesightings, Sites that Inspire and Stylesight's Tradeshows and Events Calendar.
Ilyssa also manages the company’s network of correspondents who photograph streets, retail and events in major fashion destinations around the world.
Prior to joining Stylesight, Ilyssa was the New York editor for Zagat Survey, where she reviewed new store openings and provided content for the Zagat shopping guides. Previously, Ilyssa was a trend analyst at The Doneger Group where she photographed retail and streets, created trend books of urban street styles and runway trends, and managed the content for its creative services website.
Ilyssa’s meticulous attention to detail and her obsession with creative merchandising extends to her own wardrobe. Her closets are organized by color and sleeve-length, while her shoes are arranged by brand.
Ilyssa earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in fashion merchandising and apparel design from Georgia Southern University.
